Whakamaramatanga | Definition
Hākari is a Reo Māori kupu (Māori language word) that we have chosen to describe the work we do here at Hākari Events.
As tangata whenua to Aotearoa (New Zealand), we wanted to adorn the name of our pakihi (business) with both te Reo Māori and te Reo Pākehā (the English language).
And so, Hākari Events was born.

We want to make sure we're all on the same page from the start. We'll touch base with to finalise all the finer details, answer your questions and cover anything else we need to.
We understand that some things may change, so we allow certain changes to your order up to 7 days prior to your event date. This is when you can expect to make your final payment and ensures we will arrive with everything as planned.

No matter where you are we still want to hear from you about your upcoming event!
For decor hire we will consider delivery from as far north as Mangamuka in Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) and as far south as Kirikiriroa (Hamilton) in the Waikato.
